Grocli respects your privacy and handles your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Who is responsible for your information
The responsible party is CompleteTech (Pty) Ltd, trading as Grocli. Our Information Officer is Anelja Nel, contactable at easy@grocli.co.za.
What we collect
Your first name, WhatsApp number, suburb or town, household size, food needs, the kinds of food you enjoy, cooking time, appliances, budget, shop preferences, and photos of your fridge, cupboards and freezer.
Why
Only to make your weekly meal plan and shopping list, and to contact you about it on WhatsApp. We don't sell or share your information, and we don't use it for marketing.
How long we keep it
For as long as you use the service, and no longer than 12 months after your last plan, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Photos are stored privately and are never public.
Asking for deletion or a copy
Message us on WhatsApp at 083 324 1624 or email easy@grocli.co.za. We'll delete your answers and photos and confirm once done.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that host our website, database and email, under agreements to keep it secure. Your information may be stored on servers outside South Africa that are subject to adequate data protection laws. We never sell your information.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time, or object to how we use it. You can also update your details yourself in your account.
Complaints
You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
